PRE – SCHOOL

HOFFNUNG ACADEMY has a Pre-School which admits children from 1 to 5 years old. The HOFFNUNG ACADEMY Pre-School provides the foundations for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow. The Nursery and Kindergarten (KG) Programme at HOFFNUNG ACADEMY is based on the Montessori curriculum. We believe in the development of the child’s physical, social, emotional and educational needs. We provide a holistic education which develops the cognitive, affective and the psychomotor of the child. In our Pre-School we take cognizance of the ‘sensitive period’ of development in every child and thus allow his/her work freely. We use the teachers as facilitators to encourage them to work, because the child is a worker and he works to grow. The HOFFNUNG ACADEMY Pre-School recognizes the differences in each child’s capabilities, home  backgrounds and culture. We are therefore careful to allow the child to develop at his/her own pace and strength. We engage the child in various planned, structured and unstructured play experiences that enhance child’s development and stimulate their curious minds.

PRE-SCHOOL AT HOFFNUNG ACADEMY

Your child’s day in our school will provide him/her the opportunity to work within a structured, yet flexible routine, which will flow with his/her needs. It is very interesting when your child is allowed to work as an individual and also in a group that is where his uniqueness is seen, because the child is encouraged but challenged to achieve his target for the day, thus every child’s learning journey is supported through whole range of experiences. We also recognize the importance of parents and teachers in the child’s education, we therefore work together to support the child at this early stage of his life and this partnership gives the child the required confidence to start life in a positive way having in mind that everyone supports and appreciates him. In this safe and conducive environment, your child will be well equipped to face life without fear.
